Aug. 11: Internet Component Management Group is organizing a workshop on "Hacking Portals and Websites: Prevention and damage control." The workshop is to be held in Mumbai on August 22 and Bangalore on August 24, said a company release on Friday. Internet Security Expert Tom Cervanka. Of iCMG Inc. USA, will conduct the seminar.

The workshop will attract participation from all leading Internet Companies.

Chief Technology officer, iCMG, India Dr. Srinivasan said " The web is powerful tool which is used to share information on the internet. The net performs the tasks that are as simple as receiving mail to complex monetary transactions. While Websites are focusing their efforts on making their sites more attractive, they often overlook aspects pertaining to online security. Mr. Cervenka's expertise will definitely go a long way in changing the Indian e-security scenario.
