With the industry getting competitive as never before, it is felt that one of the key ways to sustain in this industry is to rear and maintain a team of crack professionals who are experts in their respective domains. To cope with this pressure, we have to train our resources in the fields of emerging technologies. We, at Mascot, have decided to tackle the situation by introducing Web Based Training (WBT) for all our employees.

WBT programs are being initiated at Masot with an aim to encourage more & more people to acquire knowledge and expertise in their respective areas through the self - learning mode. WBT programs have certain distinct advantages over the conventional Instructor Led Training (ILT).

If there is a disadvantage of WBT, it is the mindset of the normal trainee, who looks at ILT as the only means to acquire knowledge. We hope that as people start getting benefits out of these WBT programs, they would be more receptive with time & embrace this new methodology as primary source of expanding their knowledge horizon.

While our vision is to provide training in all courses that are needed by the company, we will be starting with Middleware Technology Courses for our technical personnel. Towards this end, we have had a tie up with iCMG™ (considered to be pioneers in the field of Middleware Technologies) for enterprise-wide deployment of middleware & component related courses on Component Education Server.
