Worked as CIO of companies in the FMCG sector like Reckitt Benckiser and Pepsico , BPO sector like Convergys and as Vice-President (IT services) of ITC Infotech responsible for delivery of IT services to businesses in sectors as varied as Hospitality (Hotels and Travel), FMCG (Cigarettes and Food), Paper Manufacture and Printing, Retail and Commodity Trading. Worked for Cairn energy in the Crude Oil Manufacturing Sector.

Udayan Banerjee is responsible for exploring emerging technologies, assessing the impact and giving shape to the technology roadmap for the organisation. He is an engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and has been working in Indian IT industry for over 30 years in different capacities. During this period, he has been associated with many global enterprises. Udayan is the head of the Technology Innovation Centre (TIC) at NIIT where the centre is instrumental in creating several productivity tools, application frameworks and solution accelerators. The results from his involvement in the area of Model-Driven Development and Rich Internet Application have been made public in form of open source projects. He has published several papers at international conferences. The publications cover a diverse range of topics such as SOA, Web2.0, RIA, Knowledge Management, Code Comprehension & Transformation, Application of Agile Methodologies, Mobile Computing and Model Driven Software Engineering. Short stint in Bangalore had triggered me to return to India.  Returned in 2003, managed GLOBE at Nestle India, followed by CIO stint at Whirlpool. GLOBE, I'd say, is unquestionably the most prestigious business technology roll-out among the Fortune 100 companies. While GLOBE at Nestle is more inside-looking, the Customer Service B2B / B2C rollout at Whirlpool was a great outward-looking business IT initiative. 

Was mentored by a healthcare expert, got excited about linkages between healthcare, technology & innovation...moved to Fortis as CIO. After a versatile stint, I decided to have a broader agenda in healthcare. While continuing as CIO to select healthcare groups, I have now ventured into healthcare consulting and specialty software firm.  

Elsewhere, I interact both with diverse stakeholders in healthcare, both India and overseas, as well as with CIOs in non-healthcare domains. I  am equally passionate about creative side of life, karaoke music, social networking & travelling unplugged!

Manoj Shrivastava is Vice President - Group IT & Technology at Reliance ADA Group. Currently, his primary role in Reliance ADA Group is to establish synergies across the IT Teams in the group companies with businesses in Telecom, Financial Services, Utilities, Infrastructure, Entertainment and Healthcare.

Prior to his current role, Manoj was the Chief of IT & Solutions Engagement at Bharti Airtel's Enterprise, Broadband and Telephone Services businesses where he conceptualized, designed and implemented several business impacting systems including Customer Self Care Portal, Enterprise portal, Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management platform.

In a career spanning 20 years, Manoj has handled responsibilities in the areas of IT Strategy, Outsourcing Engagement, IT and ISP Services, business process automation and program management. Manoj has also been in academics and research and has worked extensively in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks. He is a recipient of the Young Scientist Award, 1991.

Shirish Patwardhan leads CREST (Center for Research in Engineering Sciences andTechnology) activities for manufacturing, BI, DFS, and GBS. And is the CTO – Business IT

His first job was with Tata Consultancy Services. He later co-founded KPIT in the year 1991. He worked with Oracle and Sun in the Silicon Valley. He then worked with SAP America to develop and port SAP R3 kernel on Sun/Solaris platform. He came back to India and was the product manager for KPIT's own SCADA product, continued to lead KPIT's strategic projects like Lombard, Natwest Greece, and Capital One etc.

Shirish is an executive director and a member of board at KPIT Cummins. He is a B.Tech Electrical Engineering, from IIT Mumbai, continued to receive M.Tech from the same in Control Engineering. His personal interests include technology, architecture, music, origami and trekking.

Mr. Abhay Chitnis is the CTO and Vice President - L&T Infotech.

He is responsible for Strategic Alliance Management, Incubation of New Technologies, Driving the Innovation cycle within the organization, Nurturing and Mentoring Architects Career Track and Ensuring Technology Excellence across the various delivery units. He is leading the organization's initiatives in Cloud Computing Domain and Emerging Technologies for end user experience.

Currently, he is driving an initiative by Govt of Karnataka to strengthen Vigilance & Management system in the state as a larger programme to strengthen performance management in execution and administration in the Water Resources Department.

The rational behind the system is to develop end-to-end solution to manage all WRD projects and use preventive vigilance.

The system consists of 30 + key modules including technology assistance in investigations, interface with "google earth" and protection against security breach, capacity building for successful operations of the software.

1. He is recipient of "President's "Police Medal for Gallantry" in year 2000 which is "rarest of rare" honour for police officers in India.

Manoj brings over 17 years of IT experience in building enterprise solutions for the financial industry. For more than a decade, Manoj has worked in creatinginnovativesolutions for the financial industry in Business ProcessManagement, Customer Relationship and Sales management. A. Suryanarayanan (Surya) has over 28 years of professional experience, both as a corporate executive and entrepreneur. After spending the initial years in the finance function at Union Carbide and Nicholas laboratories, he joined a family run pharma start up company, Recon and served as its Group Finance Director. His stint as a serial entrepreneur started in 2000 and since then he has successfully founded, funded and exited healthcare ventures including MedyBiz, a disease management company and LifeKen, an organized pharmacy retail chain.

Surya is a Chartered Accountant by qualification, and is an alumnus of the International Masters Program in Management of IIMB. He is the Chief Operating Officer at the NSRCEL. Hiren has close to 16+ years of experience. His experience is a blend of Business and Technology. He started his career in Merchant Banking, Back-office of Broking support moved onto the role of doing Business Development & Research in a Stock Exchange and in CRISIL.

During this period he played the role of a Business Analyst, Project Manager for the systems being developed. 10 years ago he took over as Head of product development in CRISIL and and move on to the role of a CTO in 2003.

He has been credited with implementation of real-time systems to a full-fledged ERP. In recent years he has spent a lot of time in setting up IT Governance in CRISIL and also heading it's Architecture Review Board .

Sanjay has career spanning 29 years in Information Technology. Currently he holds multiple portfolios in Zensar Technologies Limited, Pune including Head of Delivery for Global Transformation Services, Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He also heads Enterprise Architecture practice.

He joined Zensar Technologies Ltd. (erstwhile ICIL and ICIM) in April 1985 and over last 23 years has handled multiple responsibilities starting with R&D engineer, 'Product Operations' management, on-site consulting assignment, account management for a utility major in Europe, Software services delivery management to current responsibility as CTO. Sanjay also manages software services delivery of one of the largest SBU overseeing dedicated offshore centres for Zensar's global customers.

Sanjay started his career as Scientific Officer in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, one of the India's premier research institutes, where he was part of team that worked on a project of national importance for Indian Air Forces.

Meenakshi Vajpai, Sr. Vice President at Bharti Airtel, has managed Technology Services at several business units of Airtel, starting with business solutions and operations at the mobile unit to heading the product technology group for the B2B business including Data Centers to running transformational initiatives like internal business transformation through technology. She is currently heading Architecture for the organization.
