keeps moving across the areas of process, information
technology and business strategy. In most cases,
he has been working in the interfaces of two or
more of these areas.

One area of fascination has been understanding more
of the business-technology interface and bringing
in alignment between business strategy and IT. The
IT part includes both development of a technology
strategy as well as designing delivery systems
There have been repeated excursions into the area
of business strategy, with an emphasis on how technology
can be used to alter capabilities and create new
opportunities.
He says, only addition is the responsibility of
dealing with people was added on - HR. The idea
was to bring process, strategy and people under
one head looking at the range of capabilities.
