  1.

Enterprise Architeture

Enterprise architecture session will include examples, case study, practice of applying Enterprise architecture frameworks, Strategy maps, goals, corporate policies, Business processes, Metadata, Data models, IT Portfolio Management, IT Service Management, Executive information system, EA Governance, EA Metrics, BPM etc

Model Driven Architecture

MDA session will focus on model-driven engineering of IT systems, Domain Specific Language, Metamodeling, Platform Independent Model (PIM), Platform Specific Model (PSM), Unified Modeling Language (UML), Executable UML (xtUML) etc.

 3. QA & Testing - Architecture Issues

This session will focus on architecture and its influence in testing  process, testing functional requirement vs QoS requirements vs  Business Requirements, Specification based software testing,  Functional and Security Testing of Web Applications, Testing of  Web Services, Managing the Architecture Driven Testing Process,  Testing Object-Oriented Systems, Performance Engineering,  Model Driven Testing etc.

Unlike, Project Management, IT architecture is still anevolving discipline. Slowly, Enterprise architectureis becoming key component of the Information technology governance process
at  any organization of significant size.

More and more companies  are implementing a formal enterprise architecture process to  support the governance and management of IT. This session will  try to address the issues of commonality & difference, roles & responsibilities, overlaps, documentation focus, metrics for Project Management vs IT Architecture.

Legacy Transformation

Legacy Transformation session will include examples, case study, and practice of applying "Legacy modernization" and "legacy transformation" issues i.e how do we go about reusing and refactoring existing, core business logic by providing new user interfaces (typically Web interfaces) and service-enabled access (e.g., through Web services).

What are the techniques  available for organizations to understand their existing code  assets, provide new user and application interfaces to existing  code. How to improve workflow ,contain costs and minimize risk,  and enjoy classic qualities of  service (near 100% uptime, security, scalability, etc.)

Service Oriented Architecture

SOA session will focus on Service-oriented design and development, challenges faced in SOA adoption, SOA and Business Architecture (SOA vs BOA), SOA Reference Model,
SOA  Governance, SOA Implementation Framework etc.

IT Management & Governance

This session will focus on practice related to management & governance of large-scale information technology (IT) systems, IT Service Management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Control Objectives for Information Technology (COBIT), Application Services Library (ASL), ITSM relationship with  process improvement (e.g. TQM, Six Sigma, Business Process  Management, CMMI) etc.
