Dr. Thomas Mowbray is currently on an engagement for District of Columbia government, as their Citywide Enterprise Architect. In this role, he has led the creation of the new Citywide IT Strategic Plan, the standards implementation guide, and the first-ever Citywide Enterprise Architecture.

Dr. Mowbray is a Certified Federal Enterprise Architect (by the FEAC Institute) with experience on over 70 IT projects using diverse technologies: J2EE, ERP, CRM, telephony, DW/DSS, EAI, and web services. He has been chief architect on projects for District of Columbia, United States Marine Corps, State of Maryland, and United States Air Force while consulting for Keane.

Changappa Kodendera co-leads Sapient’s operations in India along with Soumya Banerjee. In this role, he focuses on Sapient’s strategy on expansion and enhancing its regional distributed delivery capabilities.

Kodendera has been with Sapient since 1994 and has played numerous roles in his tenure. Kodendera moved to India from the United States in 2001 to drive Global Distributed DeliverySM adoption within Sapient’s industry groups. Since then, as part of the Sapient’s leadership team in India, he has led numerous large-scale engagements for Global 2000 clients and been instrumental in growing the India operations.

Prior to moving to India, Kodendera has led the technology direction on several multimillion-dollar engagements with Sapient’s financial services and automotive clients.

Mr. Vivek Bhatnagar is Senior Architect and Solutions Strategy Leader with successful record of accomplishment of architecting, building, and operating world-class solutions, programs, and products teams.

He works as an Architect Advisor with Microsoft India's Developer and Platform Evangelism team. Having worked as an Evangelist and a consultant at IBM, Oracle Consulting, and Sun, he rounds off his experience with Microsoft.

He started his career with Defense and did work in a real Enterprise Firm (Maruti) prior to joining IBM. With more than 16 years of industry experience, and working with ISV's and in High End mission critical Enterprise projects, he brings varied experience to the table.

He has a graduation degree in Engineering and Masters in International Business.

Mr. Kshitij Shah is currently serving as Chief Architect, and is responsible for the technical oversight and technology change management for NSE.IT's range of projects, products and new R&D initiatives.

Kshitij comes with 15 years of diverse experience in the fields of Telecom and BFSI and has played various technical roles in designing and implementing very large systems in the mobile telephony and BFSI spaces worldwide. He has a rich and varied exposure to several groundbreaking technologies where he was at the forefront of the whole open source movement and has various journal and conference publications to his credit. He has been associated with the WWW right from it's inception and has held several workshops at the early W3C conferences.

To his credit he has an MCA from VJTI (University of Bombay) and an MS in Computer Science from Rutgers University. Prior to joining NSE.IT, Kshitij was associated with Bell Communications Research, BEA Weblogic, Mphasis and has also had a short spell as a research professor at the Large Scale Distributed Information Systems Lab (LSDIS) in the Computer Science Department at the University of Georgia, Athens under Dr. Amit Sheth. Sampathgiri has twenty-seven years of experience in the I.T. industry. He has worked on a wide variety of assignments in software development, project management, training, consulting and mentoring.

In his last position at Rational Software, he was responsible for meeting the training and consulting requirements of Rational’s customers in Rational Unified Process, Requirements Management and Object Oriented Analysis and Design.

He was active in evangelizing UML since its standardization in 1997 and the products Rational Rose, and Rational Unified Process in India.

Prior to working in Rational Software, he had worked with IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation, Hinditron and Tata Consultancy Services. He has co-founded Bigtec, a company that specializes in helping clients with adopting modern software engineering practices and is specifically active in the promotion of Model Driven Architecture and Agile practices.

He collaborates with ICMG in conducting courses on Software Architecture and with “i.e.” in building Architecture teams for software companies. He has a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Madras (1978).

Subramanian holds a B.Sc. degree from Madras University and B.E., M.E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Ph.D. in Automation from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, is senior Deputy Director General at National Informatics Center, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, New Delhi, and also the Information Technology Advisor to Comptroller & Auditor General(CAG) of India.

He has been associated with planning and implementation of major Information Technology projects of Railways, Police, Immigration, Passports & Visas, Banks, Reserve Bank of India and coordinating the computerization of Finance and Audit functions of Central and State Governments, for more than two and half decades.

Harish Grama is the Vice President of the IBM Software Lab, India. In this role, he leads one of the largest IBM Software Product Development Centers worldwide. He is responsible forthe development and support of a wide product portfolio spanning the five software product brands and systems & technology products.

In his 18 years as an IT professional, Harish has held a variety of technical and management positions. Prior to assuming his current role, he led the worldwide product development of IBM Workplace Client Technology (WCT), IBM’s client offering for a rich-desktop experience for enterprises and small & medium businesses, and successfully launched the first IBM Workplace branded offering, Workplace Mail in the market in 2004. Earlier, he spearheaded the development of IBM WebSphere Application Server – a critical offering for the IBM Software Strategy. The WebSphere Application Server went on to become the market leader in application integration area and helped establish WebSphere as the flagship brand for IBM in the marketplace. Harish was also part of the leadership team for IBM Component Broker; a precursor to the WebSphere Application Server.

Harish has worked closely with the customers on industry issues of software deployment, performance and scalability. To address this space, Harish was part of the leadership for High Performance On Demand Solutions (HiPODS) at the IBM Silicon Valley Lab, Santa Teresa. This team enabled customer applications on IBM middleware to enhance the performance, scalability and availability of some of the highest volume Web sites in the world. This work yielded several important best practices for highly scalable systems in the IT industry.

Harish is a technologist at heart and his early work on operating systems such as the Mach Kernel and the Unix Server on the Mach Kernel resulted in five U.S. Patents. Harish is passionate about developing new technologies and bringing them to the market. Currently, in addition to his role of head of IBM Software Lab, India, Harish is actively engaged with government bodies, citizen communities and academic institutions in supporting open standards and fostering the adoption of open standards based software.
