Sunil Dutt Jha
Practicing Architect & C E O, iCMG

Sunil is practicing architect  & CEO of  iCMG and has been working closely  with Dr. Thomas Mowbray (Chairman iCMG and author of 5 books in the area of distributed computing, component programming & software architecture) for development of K2 Component Server.

He is an architecture strategist who is influencing enterprise decisions for realizing systems worth $10 mn to $50 mn. He is instrumental in adoption of Component Architecture, Assembly and Reuse among Fortune 500 companies based on enterprise frameworks (such as Zachman etc.)and OMG standards such as UML 2.0, CCM & MDA. His system design skills include understanding of RM-ODP for distributed, multi-language based component systems. He is expert in Integrated Product Development (IPD) process based on SEI-CMM practices.

At iCMG, his technical leadership and guidance has resulted in the development of K2 Component Server which is the world's first industrial strength Application Server based on CORBA3.0 Component Model (CCM is superset of EJB) which supports component/container model for C++ and supports interworking with leading middleware including .NET & J2EE.

Currently, he is involved in guiding iCMG clients in developing architecture and design of mission critical applications (Aerospace, Energy & Power, Telecom, Trading) based on K2/CCM and manage technology transfer. He also provides the architecture support to CORBA2.x users (Orbacus, Orbix, VisiBroker) who are upgrading to CORBA3.0 components with "app server container" features of K2.

In addition, he has also conducted architecture assessment for large scale enterprise systems (e.g. Multi-channel Trading Platform, e-Banking Architecture) and tools development (Workflow, Business Process Automation, Assembly).

He is a technology strategist helping organization to adopt architecture-centric, component based IT asset as the key to cost savings and productivity enhancement.

Sunil has earlier worked in NeXTSTEP environment at Uptime (Switzerland)'s India subsidiary as well as LG Software (India).

He is an Aerospace Engineer from IIT Kharagpur.

Training and Presentations

An international speaker and has conducted several (45+) special sessions for senior technical managers on software components, architecture and IT assessment across the globe including Panama, UK, Singapore, France, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Srilanka, Thailand.

He was also an invited speaker at Lockheed Martin (USA) - Mission Critical Enterprise Systems Symposium (2002) as well as CSSL (Sri Lanka), SEARCC'99 (Singapore) and SEARCC'00 (Philliphines).

Pasi Karjanmaa
MDA Specialist - Compuware Asia-Pacific

Pasi has been working with Compuware since 1997 in key technical positions. He has extensive knowledge of the J2EE technology and best practices for application development with J2EE. At Compuware, Pasi works closely with customers in the Asia Pacific region to help them optimize their investments on enterprise J2EE applications through adoption of Model Driven Development approaches with OptimalJ, Compuware's advanced J2EE development environment. Pasi has previously performed key technology & product development positions at Compuware's Development & Integration Lab in The Netherlands and earlier in Compuware's offices in Finland. He has held positions with large financial services and consulting companies in Scandinavia. In all, Pasi has almost 20 years experience in the IT industry. He holds a degree in Computer Science.

Aaron Tan Dani
Chairman APAC, IASA & Founder ISAC-Malaysia

Aaron is the Architect & Platform Strategy Advisor for Microsoft Malaysia responsible for engaging with enterprise architects since early 2003. Prior to joining Microsoft, he spent 10 years in various software development projects in the area of Java, Internet technology, Middleware, System Architecture, Object Oriented and multi-lingual software development. He brings with him international exposure having led, managed and deployed enterprise software projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, UK and USA. Aaron holds a Master of Technology from National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Sciences from the University of Western Australia with a double major in Information Technology and Management. In addition, he is a Sun Certified Java Programmer.
